AI Usage Is Not AI Capability
Using AI is common. Building capability means designing the work around it.

AI use is already part of many working days. That does not automatically create organisational capability. Capability appears when a team knows which task AI is helping with, what context it needs, what good output looks like, and who remains responsible for the decision.
A practical framework starts with five questions: What is the task? What information is safe and useful to include? What standard should the output meet? Where does human review happen? Who owns the next improvement?
For example, a team may use AI to prepare a first draft of a customer brief. The workflow becomes useful when the inputs are named, the brief follows a shared structure, a reviewer checks the recommendation, and the team records what needed correction.
Choose one recurring task this week. Write down its inputs, output standard, review step, and owner. That is the beginning of capability.
