Faster Is Not the Same as Valuable
Output only matters when it serves the right decision and the right outcome.

AI can make it easier to produce more drafts, more options, and more activity. But faster output is not the same as useful work. Value comes from choosing the right problem, applying judgement, and taking responsibility for the outcome.
Before introducing AI into a workflow, define the decision it supports. Then define what would make the result worth using: clearer thinking, a better customer response, a more reliable handover, or less avoidable rework.
For example, an AI-generated campaign outline can be produced quickly. Its value depends on whether it reflects the audience, business context, constraints, and a decision the team can stand behind. The first draft is not the outcome; the resolved work is.
Pick a task where speed has recently created noise. Reframe it around the outcome you need, then decide where AI genuinely helps.
